Ideas and tips

Print at actual size

The sizes in the descriptions are right when you print at “Actual size” (100 %). With “Fit to page”, everything comes out a little smaller.

Window stars

Color the stars, cut them out and tape them to the window, or punch a hole and hang them on the tree with a ribbon. On card stock they last longer.

Frequently asked questions

What ages are the star templates for?

The easiest page (“Large Eight-Point Star”, easy) works from age 3, the most demanding one (“Ten-Point Star Mandala”, detailed) from age 8. Every page lists the age and the difficulty.

Can I print these coloring pages for free?

Yes. All 7 pages are free PDFs in pure black and white for US Letter, with a margin so your printer doesn’t cut anything off. They print on A4 just as well. No sign-up needed.

Can kids color them on a tablet?

Yes. On every page, tap a color and then an area, and the area fills with color. “Undo” takes back the last step, “Save” stores the finished picture on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
